About Lindsey Owen

Lindsey Owen is a Certified Member of the International Society of Appraisers. The Certified Member designation represents the apex of recognition within ISA credentialing and the esteemed appraisal industry, serving as an emblem of exceptional appraising expertise, continuous professional growth, and mastery of advanced skills. To attain the Certified Appraiser of Personal Property designation, one must demonstrate a substantial record of 900 documented hours devoted to appraisal reporting, coupled with the successful completion of the rigorous CAPP examination.

Lindsey opened her appraisal practice in May 2020 where she has been translating her experience in arts administration, collection management, conservation, and insurance to provide the highest caliber of service to clients in Chicago, IL.

After obtaining a Master of Arts from The University of Chicago, Lindsey began her career as the Assistant Director of Jackson Junge Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. She then served as the Operations Director at The Conservation Center, the largest private art conservation firm in the US. Lindsey gained considerable experience managing collection needs for large-scale insurance claims after having worked with the senior disaster response team during Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Hurricane Irma in Miami, the Thomas Fire in Santa Barbara, and the Tubbs Fire in Napa and Sonoma.
